Kenwith Valley is a nature reserve in North Devon and ten minutes from my parents.
From June 2024 I started painting from a particular spot at Kenwith. The natural energy of the area is striking, from the bird life to the dramatically changing landscape. I have been revisiting the area through the seasons in a direct attempt to capture what is in front of me. I see it as a reflection of life, the subtle changes, the cycle of new life dying back and then re emerging in all its glory. It is a reflection of us.
